I decided to add the "mother" option for
anyone out there who has that type of a book.
Do they even make that version anymore?

 Just attach the animals with tape to a popsicle stick!

You could also have these posted
around the room and have your
students write the room
as they find the characters.

How about adding some Brown Bear Story Sequencing mini cards?
Yup. I think I have to do that!
Just fold the paper in half,
staple around it to make a pocket
and have students retell the story
as they place the characters into the pouch.
